Children with Hair Loss

With it being BFRB week, I felt it appropriate to provide information on this amazing resource.

Children with Hair Loss is a nonprofit organization that provides high-quality human hair wigs at no cost to young people who are experiencing medically-related hair loss. 

Hair loss in children can be a result of a chemotherapy, radiation, burns, accidents, scarring, Alopecia, Trichotillomania and Hypomellanosis of Ito.

The goal of Children with Hair Loss is to assist as many children experiencing hair loss as possible, by providing each child with a free human hair replacement system once per year. This allows a every child the opportunity to foster a healthy confidence early on, in spite of hair loss. Children with Hair Loss currently provides a customized human hair replacement piece and care kit to more than 300 children each year.  

As a company focused on offering products that improve people's lives, Wig Studio 1 is proud to partner with Jon Renau and Children with Hair Loss. Children with Hair Loss provides products and services at no charge to the recipients. The organization operates entirely on revenues generated from tax-deductible donations, fundraisers, grants and by the many hours donated by volunteers.
