Phoenix XO

Nutmeg R
Phoenix XO by Amore is another pixie that I have wanted to try for some time now; it is so cute, sassy and fun! I love the choppy layers that make it a bit edgy, but not too edgy, also the long side fringe makes Phoenix a very trendy style (this can easily be trimmed if not to your taste). There is just something about putting on a fun pixie that makes me smile, I love the ease of short hair, I can take Phoenix out of the box, put it on and know it will look good every time with little to no styling required.
The color I reviewed is Nutmeg R, the base shade of Nutmeg R is a very light amber shade with beautiful golden blonde highlights.
Above is a color comparison of Nutmeg R and Noriko's Butter Pecan which is much more gold.
Henry Margu 27/26H is also more of a golden color compared to Nutmeg R.
Finally I compared Nutmeg R to Sangria, both colors are so beautiful.
The cap construction on Phoenix is interesting; it has a 100% hand tied lace front, a 100% hand tied mono top providing parting options and a light fabric that covers the wefting. This is not a hand tied cap, the cap is wefted but has a soft fabric that covers the wefts making it extremely soft against the scalp, I love this feature! Phoenix has closed felt ear tabs with silicone tabs providing a secure fit as well as an extended nape with adjusters.
The photo above shows additional views of the highlighting on Phoenix, this highlighting makes this wig come alive, it gives it so much personality and dimension.
The specs for Phoenix XO are, front 5.5 to 6.5, crown 3.5 to 3.9, nape 1.6 to 2 and it only weighs 2.2 oz. If you want a pixie that is a tad more "trendy" Phoenix might just be the style for you!
