Do I have to purchase Package Protection every single time I order? Yes, if you like this option, it must be added to each order.
What happens if I accidentally purchase Package Protection? If you accidentally purchase coverage and wish to be refunded, please contact our customer service within 24 hours of purchase. As long as your order has not been fulfilled, we can remove and refund the coverage amount.
What happens if I don’t purchase Package Protection? If you don’t purchase Package Protection, your packages may not be protected from damages, loss, or theft.
Why do I need shipping protection? As more purchases are made online, more packages are getting lost in transit and stolen from doorsteps. The costs can be devastating for consumers and brands alike.
Can I purchase Package Protection Coverage after I have placed my order? Please reach out to support@wigstudio1.com. We can add coverage as long as it is added and payment is complete before your order is fulfilled.
Package Protection ensures your order will be replaced or refunded if damaged, lost, or stolen.
Wig Studio 1 is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen packages.
How do I file a claim? To file a claim, visit our claims portal. You will need your email or zip code, as well as your order number. If you need assistance filing your claim, please contact support@wigstudio1.com.

Package Protection Policy
We offer package protection with the following resolution options:
• Replacement: A new item in the exact same style and color.
• Store Credit: Issued to your store account, which can be used at checkout toward your next order.
• Refund: Returned to your original form of payment. If store credit was used for the purchase, the refund will be issued as store credit.

Coverage Details & Claim Timeframes
Damaged Items
An order is considered damaged if the wig/topper arrives with damage to the cap construction, fibers, or the wig box or is otherwise unusable due to damage during shipping (this policy does not apply to defective items).
Claim Timeframe for Damaged Items:
• Within 30 days from the date the package was marked as “delivered.”
Lost Packages:
An order is considered lost when:
• It has never been reported as “delivered” and has had no tracking updates for 7+ days.
• It has been 48 hours past the estimated delivery date provided by the shipping carrier with no tracking updates for 7+ days.
Claim Timeframe for Lost Packages:
• Between 7 and 30 days from the last tracking update.
• Note: A 7-day waiting period is required before filing a claim, as packages may be delayed but still in transit.
Stolen Packages:
An order is considered stolen when it is marked “delivered” but was not received by the customer.
Claim Timeframe for Stolen Packages:
• Between 7 and 30 days from the date the package was marked “delivered.”
• Note: A 7-day waiting period is required before filing a claim, as packages may be prematurely marked as “delivered” but still arrive.
