(Cognac Rooted)
Keeping true to my promise to review more colors and styles I am adding Ellen Wille Score in Cognac Rooted to my blog. I have fallen in love with these shades of red, I think they are perfect for the upcoming fall season.
Score is a pixie with longer layers at the crown and sides; the longer crown allows for a more updated look as well as providing styling options.
Score is part of the Ellen Wille HairPower collection; this collection is for petite/average head circumferences (I have a 211/4 inch circumference) but this one runs a tad larger (video shows the amount of stretch), making this work, in my opinion, for an average size head.
The cap construction consists of a basic front (no lace front) a mono crown piece that allows the hair to look like it is growing right out of the scalp, felt ear tabs with metal stays as well as an extended felt nape with velcro adjusters. As I mentioned above there is a good amount of stretch in this cap.
The color Cognac Rooted is described as a blend of light auburn and medium to light cooper red with dark brown roots. I think the roots look extremely natural on Score, they provide a beautiful contrast to the other blended shades.
This blended color is so pretty with the highlights concentrated around the face to instantly brighten the look! I especially like the way the colors are blended together in the back of the style. Score is available in 10 shades.
The specs are bang 3.5, crown 6, sides 3.5, nape 3 and weight is 2.2 oz. The HairPower wigs are very low density and the fibers are very fine, there is also very minimal permatease in this wig.
