Hi and welcome back to the CrazyWigLady Blog here at Wigstudio1. Are you looking for a fun summer style? I found one that is summer ready, Cherry HF from BelleTress, the color I have is the popular Bombshell Blonde. For me summer hair is mostly always a pixie/boy cut, I live in the South where it is hot and humid so anything with a short nape is perfect. I like to be trendy but not too trendy, and Cherry HF fits that description perfectly; it has a long sweeping bang that can be worn on or off the face, textured front pieces, short nape and is heat friendly so no shine. In my opinion, this is a cross between a boy cut/pixie and a stacked bob, the best of both worlds. 

The cap consists of a lace front into a left mono part, remember you can change the part any where within that mono area. Cherry HF has a small amount of permatease but nothing extreme, just enough to to keep it from being flat against the head. 

This style has open wefting and closed felt ear tabs with stays. The specs for Cherry HF are Nape 1", Back 1.5 - 7" giving this wig an overall length of 1"-7" and it weighs 2.8 oz. 

The open wefting is great for these hot summer days, it also features a non extended felt nape with pull adjusters. I personally appreciate open wefted designs, they fit nice, offer more air circulation making them cooler than hand tied caps and they are more affordable.

The rooting on Bombshell Blonde is so well done, it is not stark or overly done in anyway, I love the way it gives this wig dimension. The color Bombshell Blonde is described as golden brown roots blended with white, pure blonde and a satin blonde. BelleTress has really done it right with this color!

The photo above shows Bombshell Blonde in outdoor and indoor lighting. It is always amazing to me how much difference there is between indoor and outdoor lighting.

 

Here are a few ways to style Cherry HF; I always try to find as many different ways as I can to style short wigs, just because it is short does not mean you can't style it differently and create a totally different vibe. A simple clip is all that is needed to get a nice off the face look and of course all wigs have to work with my glasses and this one does! Just a note, I always wear my glasses over my ear tabs, wearing them underneath the ear tabs is really uncomfortable for me and I have to take them on and off all day so just slipping them over the tabs works well for me.

I just had to try it with a couple of different headbands, again creating a totally different look. Remember you could easily steam these fibers off your face if needed but I like the option of wearing the bangs down and swept to the side. Another note, the heat friendly fibers are really nice on these BelleTress styles, I especially think with the shorter styles the heat friendly fibers help hold the style a bit better than regular synthetic and since it is short you don't have to worry about too much friction on the ends. 

I am so happy to have Cherry HF in my personal collection, I know I will be reaching for it all summer!
