Curve Appeal has a beautiful cut that is very flattering, particularly for a wider face. I had no issues with the density or construction, and would say the ones I have (2) are quite dense and thick. This piece would be good for professional wear, too, and I've gotten compliments on zoom meetings. BUT. There are two big issues for me: 1. The fibers on this were very frustrating, and tangle worse than any other I have. Curve Appeal's fibers were difficult to comb through, and once worn, the back was a tangled mess every time. I ended up after 3 wears having to take a hot air brush to smooth it back out, since it was so frizzed in the back. The next time I wore it, same thing. And no, I wasn't wearing a wool jacket or anything, just a cotton button-up. I tried conditioner, fabric softener, etc., to no avail. I finally just cut the bottom layer of curls off because after about 6 wears, the back looked terrible. 2. The lace front started to fray after only a couple of wears. Luckily, it's parted so that you can't see this under the long bang, but it does affect the fit. I had to use fray stop, since this clearly wasn't welded lace. I am very gentle and exceedingly cautious with my wigs, since they're so expensive! For it to fray so quickly and start to unweave was very strange and has made me cautious of buying another from that line of RW wigs. Otherwise, this is a beautiful cut and I like the way the color frames the face to make the lace front more realistic.

I wanted to provide another opinion since I did have a good experience with this wig. I know how upsetting it is to have disappointment with a new and expensive wig since I’ve also had that. I would give Curve Appeal a B minus. The one I received was made well with regard to the lace. I have worn it for a week straight daily and these are the issues I dealt with: weird shaping of the barrel curls and one side laying poorly, the lace part is so dense you can’t see it, disconnected layering that makes the nape seem much too long.
Since I am a hairstylist I figured I could work with it. I first used my hot brush to smooth the weird barrel curls-it worked for a while but the hair did revert to the shape that it originally had. Then I used my flat iron on a setting of 270, taking small sections I smoothed it straight. Now you can see the disconnected layers but it lays much better! A silicone spray was helpful too, not over sprayed since the hair can’t absorb it. I actually love it now and can use it without being annoyed with the style.

I am so far very pleased with this wig. it does not have a full mono top, but I decided to live with it (as I got it on sale). I wore it out already. I feel glamorous. Style is easy to wear right out of the box. It does have weak ear stays. The hair lies very close to the head and looks very natural. It has a light hair density which I much prefer over the free time wig. This one feels more natural while the Free Time certainly comes with "big hair". The cap fits nicely as well. The one thing that looks least natural on this wig is the part, because you can't see the skin through it even with my go-to solution of surgical tape or bandaid taped underneath. Color: RL14/25.

This is the first wig I have ever purchased. I was so disappointed. I had read and seen reviews of Raquel Welsh wigs , I was excited to get it. I tried it on, and was immediately let down. The hair was voluminous , not well styled. I put it back in its box and put it away. I tried again, put it on and actually wore it. The hair was very fly away, and it shed terribly. The wafting? was visible through the hair. I wore it a second time thinking maybe this was something that is natural for a new wig, the shedding. This time I found that it was actually hurting me. When I investigated, I found that at the end of the lace to the left there was a thick knot of fabric and lace boring into my head. It had become painful after an hour of wear. It almost looked like that area had undergone a repair, it seemed thicker than the other side. I thought the wig was new. All in all a bad experience.
